Hello John,
I am reaching out to you now because you have supported Sharetrails/BlueRibbon in the past. We are in the middle of our Fall fundraiser to preserve access and we need your help to make it successful..
Sharetrails/BlueRibbon is the only multi-modal 50-state organization that stands for access for all. We are a small organization with only three full-time staff members, three contractors and an attorney. There are dozens of large and well-funded environmental and preservationist groups out there who outspend us by more than 10:1. Though rarely right on the facts, they are right on the money and that ultimately matters a lot. On our side it's us, a few tremendous partner organizations, a few clubs and a Hail Mary. Though we hit above our weight we lack the resources that we need to even the playing field. We need you to help set all of this straight. A small donation may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things but I assure you that every bit helps. If you are in a position to help more please consider doing so. You should have already received our Fall fundraiser in the mail but if you did not here is a link to a digital copy.
